NWSTP Scoop

Having looked at and used the other scoops available we thought we would

give a shot at designing our own. The original design is based on one Roland Black

made for his Syclone. After duplicating and testing that design a few changes

were made to get to the current stage. It is a simple bolt on scoop that uses

the 2 bolts currently on the crossmember with provisions for 2 more on the CAC

if needed. The bottom is flat with a small dip in the back to clear and protect

the front diff. As with other scoops if you do bottom on the NWSTP scoop damage

should not occur to anything other than the scoop.

Prototype #1

Prototype #2

Raised the leading edge 1", rounded the corners, and boxed in the sides more.

We are looking into making them available to list members but are working out the final details.

COST: So far I have 7 people Paul Schwab, Roland, Black, Duff Gray, Mike Samuels, Bill Calcagno Chuck Blossom, and George Smith. At 7 people the cost is $135 each plus shipping, maybe tax. We are still working on getting more quotes from other companies, which may bring it down farther (I hope).

I have ordered another prototype to be sent and used by Dabney Crump. He should be getting the scoop by August 6th. When he gets the scoop and installs it I will have him give his opinion of it to the list.

I still want to get 20 people to bring down the cost to $115 each.

I have included the drawings and quick instructions to help those out that don't know how it looks/works.

Feel free to make the scoop from the drawings or get quotes for multiple units. I am not making a penny on this, just doing everybody a favor...

QUALITY: Nothing but the best!!!

AVAILABILITY: If I can get 20 people to send me money, should be like 1 week to have them made.

We have 2 scoops now being used with no problems yet!
