For those who have been around awile, does anyone know or fallow Larry (red hair guy) progression. Last I heard he had the ty in the 11's.
I had the opportunity to got out to Dale Green's shop (engine builder out near Blood Enterprises in Auburn) and take a look at his machine shop. My dad is having a 415 small block (Dart) being build for his 68 Camaro.
Anyway, Larry's name got brought up by Dale saying he has done some heads for him on 3 seperate occasions. I asked what heads, but he forgot but didn't think they were vortec.
Just curious if Larry roams this sight or perehaps some of the NWSTP elders talk with him.
He always seemed to really know his stuff about our trucks.

Larry G is a board member..... do a lookup as I don't remember his screen name. I don't believe he is a frequent browser though.
He's gone 11:40's - 125mph and been thrown out of the track for going too fast. His current heads are Vortecs that were done by Scotty @ DG machine. He is extremely knowledgeable in getting the most out of our trucks, with little being done. He was running 12's with stock turbo, cam, heads, etc..
He use to work on others rides for a price, but is too busy lately with his new business to do that any more. He lives somewhere in the Tacoma area. Nice fellow.... Best place to run into him is at the track (when it's open) 8-) |
